Setting up your inspectagram account correctly is the first onboarding step before performing inspections. Completing your profile, signature and company information helps ensure your account is ready for reporting and other workflows.

Your profile and company information may be used throughout inspectagram, including reports, agreements and scheduling information. Keeping this information accurate helps maintain consistency across your account.

A signature must be created before reports can be generated. Completing your setup before your first inspection helps ensure everything is ready when needed.

Before starting inspections, verify that all information is accurate and complete.

Create Your Own Company Unless You Have Been Invited to Join One

Why?

Most inspectors should create their own company. Join a company only if you work for an existing inspection company already using inspectagram and the company owner or principal inspector has invited you to join.

This approach helps ensure your account is connected to the correct company structure from the beginning.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Download the inspectagram app and sign in using your Apple or Google Play account.

2. Complete your profile information before performing inspections. Include:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email address
  • Mobile phone number

If applicable, you may also enter your license number. The license number field is optional but should be added before operating as a fully licensed inspector.

3. Add a professional profile photo. Use a clear and professional headshot or business photo. Profile photos may appear in reports.

4. Create and save your signature. A signature must be created before reports can be generated.

5. Choose whether to create a company or join an existing company.

  • If creating a company, enter your business trade name, legal business name, report email address and business phone number.
  • If joining a company, the company owner or principal inspector must first invite you, add your mobile phone number and provide an invitation code.

6. Verify all company information and contact details. Review your report email address, business phone number and other company information before completing setup.

7. Download the inspectagram library after setup is complete.
